Solastalgia - short film

2019 | NUA animation graduate short film directed by Elizabeth Fijalkowski. A one-minute visual narrative, it attempts to evoke the feeling of helplessness when faced with the urgency of climate change and horror of human pollution, by exploring the juxtaposition of harsh man-made objects against the beauty of nature. The term solastalgia, coined by Glenn Albrecht, denotes a feeling of distress caused by environmental change. Festivals 2019 | Norwich Film Festival official selection
