The planets of Star Trek TNG - animation
2021 | Illustrations and animations created for the video ‘Which Star Trek Planets Could Really Exist?’ written by Simon Clark. A scientific examination of the planets of Star Trek, within the video this fan-created mini episode is an attempt to create a Star Trek story that centres around a particularly interesting – and plausibly scientifically accurate - planet. I storyboarded, designed, illustrated and animated the whole 5 minute 'fake' episode, which included planning TNG reminiscent shot layouts, painting the backgrounds in Photoshop, and animating the final sequences in After Effects in a cinematic storybook slideshow style.
